Veggie Dog Farms…..

Oscar Mayer's Vegan Dogs are all natural and contain absolutely zero animal bi products. All of that agriculture must come from somewhere! This map shows the various nations outside of North America all of whom are participating in fair trade partnership of farms.  Of those nations, 65 percent are supplying Oscar Mayer for their Vegan Dogs in some way….

Fair Trade goods are just that. Fair. From far-away farms to your shopping cart, products that bear the fair trade logo come from farmers and workers who are justly compensated. They help farmers in developing countries build sustainable businesses that positively influence their communities. They're a nonprofit who teach disadvantaged communities how to use the free market to their advantage. With fair trade , the money you spend on day-to-day goods can improve an entire community’s day-to-day lives.

Grienermobile tour rolls on….

The Riverwalk- San Antonio, Texas

Oscar Mayer Boat Show May 15. Participants design their own floating vessels to ride down the Riverwalk. Past contestants have designed submarines, row boats, kayaks, inner tubes, rafts, jet skis and canoes.

The Arch- St. Louis, Missouri

East Meets West Gala May 14. Oscar Mayer hosts a major function under the arch in St. Louis as the Grienermobiles make the westward push. The event will double as a fund raiser to benefit prostate cancer.

Jetman Flight Over The Grand Canyon- Arizona

Jetman flies his newest jet-powered flight suit over a portion of the Grand Canyon. The flight introduces the hot dog cannon used to power hot dogs hundreds of feet as a promotional tool for arenas and sporting events. Oscar Mayer teamed up with Breitling to create the flight suit.

Grienermobile Fleet takes off across the Country...

Up to two weeks ago, the promotions and marketing teams of the Grienermobile have taken off across the country in an effort to blanket many major cities with news of Oscar Mayer's growth and development in the environmentally friendly markets. The teams have started to arrive in their target cities and a number of events are scheduled to take place.

Central Park- Manhattan, New York

The weekend of May 15-16 will see the opening of the Oscar Mayer Concert Series. John Mayer, a major wiener in his own right, will be performing a live free concert to kick off the festivities. Also performing will be Ani DiFranco, various Elvis impersonators and David Lee Roth.

The Fens- Boston, Massachusetts

May 15-16 the entire Boston Red Sox team will line up on duck boats floating down the Charles river as thousands of Yankees fans all wearing pinstriped uniforms and wielding the new hot dog launchers will line the shores of the river. As the boat slowly makes its way through Boston, the fans will unleash millions of hot dogs at the players.

Duck boats go past the Boston side of the Charles River aproaching the Longfellow Bridge during the Sox parade.

Mt. Rushmore- South Dakota

Repelling Wiener race. Contestants dressed as cocktail wieners will compete in various competitions. The first and obviously most riveting is the repelling race whereby the competitors repel off George Washington's forehead to the ground below. Lesser known competitions during the event include craps on Teddy Roosevelt's double chin and the scramble up the south slope, seen below.

SLICK WILLY!

Our 42nd president and local resident Bill Clinton has emerged as one of the very prominent public
figures to come forward as a spokesman for Oscar Meyer's new Vegan Dogs. This past weekend, as the
Grienermobile rolled into Bedford, NY, it was the former president who emerged in costume to emcee
an eating contest of the newest Oscar Meyer product

Mr. Clinton's participation isn't a far departure from his current lifestyle. In 2004, weighing in around 240
pounds, the former president was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital for evaluation regarding his
heart. The following day, more tests were administered and it was recommended that he go for quadruple
surgery. The surgery was a success, but it was just the beginning of his journey towards a healthier
lifestyle.

After trying various diets restricting various food groups, Clinton's heart-rate wouldn't stabilize, a condition known as afibrillation. It was then that former President Clinton went completely vegan. He has since lost over 40 pounds and  is feeling great. With the rare exception of occasional seafood, Clinton has maintained the diet and is doing great.

"I live on beans, legumes, vegetables, fruit. I drink a protein supplement every morning — no dairy, I drink almond milk mixed in with fruit and a protein powder so I get the protein for the day when I start the day up.
"I did all this research, and I saw that 82 percent of the people since 1986 who have gone on a plant-based, no dairy, no meat of any kind, no chicken, no turkey — I eat very little fish, once in a while I’ll have a little fish — if you can do it, 82 percent of people have begun to heal themselves."

To accomplish this astounding feat, here are the rules. You must not eat:
  • anything with a mother or a face (no meat, poultry, or fish)
  • dairy products
  • oil of any kind, not a drop, not even olive oil
  • nuts or avocados
You can eat a wonderful variety of delicious, nutrient-dense foods:
  • all vegetables (leafy green vegetables, root vegetables, veggies that are red, green, purple, orange, and yellow and everything in between)
  • all legume(beans, peas, and lentils of all varieties)
  • all whole grains and products, such as bread and pasta, that are made from them — as long as they do not contain added fats
  • all fruits (except avocado)
